I’m big on personal choices. Making our own decisions. Navigating our own path. But, I will tell you a little something about me…just so you have an idea who this self-confessed semi-obsessive compulsive person is…

I’m a lot of things.  I hate being labeled as just one thing.  I believe everyone is a lot of different people at any given point in time.

I’m a woman.  Strong, independent, confident. Soft, vulnerable, open.

I’m a mother, and I’m good at it…so far. I take one look at my son and I wonder, how in the world did I get so lucky to be given such a gift to take care of?

I’m a professional – meaning I work for a living. I dare not reveal what I do – that’s too personal … I love what I do.  But it’s also irrelevant to this blog.

I’m a friend, and I enjoy meeting new people. I look forward to spending time in airports  and long flights – its the perfect place to make new friends.

I’m a wandering soul (literally and figuratively speaking).  I’m always on the lookout for something new – new experiences, new people, new places…traveling feeds my soul.

I’m an artist.  I appreciate beauty in the simple everyday things and I can’t imagine my life without some form of art in it. Mine or someone else’s.

I’m a lover. I love life despite having been knocked down on my ass a couple of times. There’s nothing quite like getting back up.

I’m hopeful and realistic.

And while it feels both scary and liberating, I’m whoever and whatever, I want and choose to be.
